New dials arrive help to ensure that this watch remains characterised by a rectangular case informed by a model from the 1920s. Marks of total purity featuring longer hour-markers or relaxed hour-markers and Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, 12 o’clock, make themselves known. Colour also peps up this collection and allows wearers to personalise the watch to suit their tastes. For the first time, the winged hourglass brand presents a style of interchangeable straps available in a rainbow of eight new colours. The first season offers bright yellow, orange, big taupe, mad coral, easy brown, wid pine green, turquoise as beauty and zesty lime green. Finally, the winged hourglass brand introduces a new bigger size to its Longines DolceVita collection, perfect for men. This new 28.20 x 47 mm case houses an automatic movement. The Longines DolceVita collection has gone on with as many variations as there are ways of being and showing the dolce vita. Longines has obviously chosen Rome to present the 2019 novelties of one of its biggest collection, Longines DolceVita. Inspired by its rectangular case, this line is enhanced now with new dials in white and blue colours, changing coloured straps and an additional oversized case. On the show of the watch presentation, Longines invited its Ambassador of Elegance Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to show off the new models as well as the 20th anniversary of their friendship. A real ode to the Italian sweet life, Longines DolceVita draws its love from an historical piece from the 1920’s. A further XL case size, which perfectly suits men wrists, was also displayed. To pay tribute to the elegance and the charm of the beautiful Indian actress, the Swiss watch brand created a special watch from the Longines DolceVita collection. Limited to 5 pieces, the Longines DolceVita Elegance celebration – Limited Edition combines rose gold, diamonds, white mother-of-pearl and turquoise blue. On the occasion of the Longines DolceVita event in Rome, Walter von Känel, President of Longines had the pleasure to present the watch number 5 to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan herself.
