Since 1878, Longines has been committed to supporting equestrian sporting activities. That’s why they created the original Longines Equestrian, a chronograph with a jockey and his mount engraved on it. By 1912, the company took its commitment to equestrian sports out of the St. Imier, Switzerland to the playing field when it partnered with an international show jumping generation. There has been no turning back since then as Longines has consistently supported sports such as show-jumping, flat racing, endurance and eventing competitions.
