TAG Heuer Watches
History of TAG Heuer
History of TAG Heuer
Founded as Heuer back in 1860 and renamed as TAG Heuer later in 1985, TAG Heuer established its roots as one of the most important Swiss brands around the globe. Their journey of providing innovation and high accuracy started with the founder Edouourd Heuer who manufactured the company and was overtaken by TAG groups in 1985.
The first patent introduced by TAG Heuer was in 1869. These pocket watches were keyless, ensuring the innovative strategy of the brand right from the start. "Oscillating pinions" bought a revolution in watchmaking technology back in 1887. Based in La Chaux de-fonds, Switzerland also has their watchmaking factory situated in Cornol, Switzerland. Since 1860, the brand has focused more on the performance as they believed in quality over quantity. TAG Heuer is referred to as ''Swiss Avant-Garde since 1860". The first chronograph was designed in 1882 and in 1887 TAG Heuer patented an oscillating pinion that is still utilized by many watch manufacturers. "Autavia" was introduced in 1933. It got its name from automobiles and aviation dashboard timers.
In 1895, TAG Heuer pushed their innovative strategy forward by introducing one of the first water-resistant patent watches. The watches came with cases that could resist water. In 1910, this Swiss giant expanded its market and influence in America as well. Henry Freund and Bros. were appointed as the exclusive distributors of watches and other TAG Heuer products in the markets of the United States. "Mikrograph" was introduced in 1916. This watch was the first stopwatch that was accurate to 1/100 of a second. The innovative design of its dial makes the readings very precise, and the stopwatch experience accurate.
From 1920 to 1928, TAG Heuerr watches represented the Olympic games as their official timekeeper. Their elegant and high-quality patent watch because of its performance and accuracy was part of 3 consecutive Olympics seasons including the one held at Amsterdam in 1928.
In the 1920's, the major chunk of success TAG Heuer watches received was due to the connections and relations with the automobile and sports industries. The world of motor racing cars contributed a lot to TAG Heuer's undeniable market performance. The 1930's were a little tough for the company's success due to the stock market crash in 1929. Although TAG Heuer watches were being produced, the rate of production was decreased. Just when the world was overcoming the crisis in 1934, TAG Heuer focused on further growth and they became part of the Basel watch fair.
The Reasonability and the Market
Designed and manufactured with the help of high-quality material and skilled craftsmen, TAG Heuer watches provide excellent value for the money. These watches are hugely inspired by sports and car racing and are designed to meet the user's expectations with their TAG Heuer Aquaracer and Taq Heuer Formula 1 collection. So much to offer, yet these modern luxury watches are reasonable with their price tags.
If we compare the market prices with other Swiss giants such as Rolex, the value for money TAG Heuer Watches offer is pretty impressive. As a professional diver, you can have an extraordinary precise timepiece experience underwater with TAG Heuer Aquaracer. It is specially designed for underwater use that too at a lesser price as compared to other top Swiss watches brands. One of the reasons TAG Heuer is amongst the biggest watchmaking brands around the world is that with their appeal and watches mostly target the youth. Moreover, TAG Heuer Carrera is for those people who prefer style and elegance over anything. You can have quality as well as a luxurious watch experience at a minimal price. Although, you'll find some of the watches super expensive. Regardless of that, those watches will cost you less than the other brands have to offer.
Innovation and performance are what TAG Heuer sells. In fact, their slogan also says “don't crack under pressure” and that became the company's official motto in 1991. The demand for TAG Heuer Watches is higher among the youth. Apart from that, these Swiss watches can be useful, a style symbol, and affordable for the ones who are associated with sports and underwater thrills. The most important aspect is that no one will hesitate to buy TAG Heuer watches if they are not conscious about any one particular brand as these watches provide the brand value, grace, and reasonable rates at the same time.
